This site first appeared on the internet in August 1996 and celebrates it's 14th anniversary this year. Over thirteen  years it has gone through many changes to keep in line with modern trends and internet capabilities. In 2004 the team had to make some big decisions as to how to move forward and it was agreed to re-introduce the listings only to campsites that had their own websites. This ensures that upto date information such as prices and availability will always be at your finger tips with many sites offering online booking facilities. The site is also designed with simplicity and ease of use in mind, with just three clicks of the mouse you are looking at your first listings. The site is completely free of adverts and annoying popup menus.
